March's Craft: Book Planters

This month's craft is to make planters for succulents out of old books. Mom and I did it today, with an old book of G'ma's (a double nod, she was an avid reader and an avid gardener). 

Cutting/digging out the pages was not as "easy" as it may appear. But it was a lot of fun to do!

Get that Smell Outa'yo'flats!

Ok, I'm not made of roses. Hahaha...even my feet can cause a stink! However, I'm really kind of happy to see that it's not just me (like, why were my feet causing such a trauma in flats that are SO comfy to wear)!

Here is a link to a few methods of odor absorption for shoes - specifically flats that women love to wear.

I'm trying the baking soda method ... we'll see how it does. ;o)
