Beyond Belief.

My anger, sorrow, and frustration over yesterday's election is so real that I've pretty much been numb all day. We're now sitting in territory I've never been in before - but Germany certainly has - truly terrified for this country and what this horror of a human means to the nation, and subsequently the world. A bigoted, racist, sexist, misogynistic, anti-LGBT, anti-refugee, anti-immigrant, WHITE FUCK OF A "MAN", will take the highest office this country has.

#notmypresident EVER.

I am in utter disbelief at the rampant hate this country is showing.

I am fearful of our future. I don't know what to do or say right now...I am SO FUCKING MAD.

Single but deciding to become a mom...

I just keep getting older, while remaining single, and though I desperately want someone to love and to love me, I can "live" without that. What I don't think I can live without, being a mother. So...though I have no idea how I would afford it, I am going to start looking into my options on becoming a parent ...

October's Recipe: Rice Krispie Pumpkins

Simple. Tasty. Cute.

(Just add food coloring to the melted marshmellow mixture to make them orange. And put a little oil on your hands when making the pumpkins, helps to keep them from sticking too much.)

Apple Picking

Is it really Fall, in Upstate NY, if you don't go Apple and Pumpkin Picking???

An Autumn Craft

I actually put everything but the strings to hang them on the tree, on these snowmen ages ago ... but the pumpkins I made today. Oh, and the single Jack'o'lanterns are reversible! :)

Both are super easy to make ... small pre-cut pieces of wood (log/tree branches) can be purchased - in a variety of sizes - at craft stores. I glued the snowmen together before decorated, and painted the pumpkins before gluing them.

*I used hot glue.

Other bits used: puff paint, buttons and string on the snowmen -- and of course the little chalkboard signs (which I put on upside down so that a small picture can go there. And for the pumpkins, I used a bit of twin and string, and I cut a few pieces of one of my grape vine wreaths to add in as stem bits.
