1. I don't have the space for an actual bar in my apartment ... and this looks like a good way to solve that problem. Ok ... gotta buy some shelves ... and then some booze (perhaps I'll have a "new bar shelf" party and ask folks to bring booze with them...LOL)!
2. I want to do this for two reasons: a.) so that I can put up a map and "pin" all of the places I have traveled, and b.) because it looks cool - and I think it would make a nice "backdrop" for the in between space of my computer desk and the shelf above the desk...we shall see. :)
