International New Year's Eve Traditions

Next year I want to throw a New Year's Eve Party that incorporates some International Flares...these two, which I've just learned of today, to start:

• 12 Grapes on a skewer, one per person, to eat at Midnight. I will double check, but I believe I read that it is a tradition from Spain.
• On New Years Day, don't eat anything with wings on it so that your New Year's Luck won't fly away. 

I'll keep my eyes out for other things to include. (Please feel free to include traditions you know of...)
