Be a part of the resistance, bring the light

Yesterday marked a day in history that this nation, and the country, will regret - that is my firm belief. In fact, I'm certain many already do - and it's been just over 24 hours that that thing has been president.

I will not be silent.
I will not sit back and watch as he destroys all that this nation truly stands for.
I will fight.

Today I took one small step in that fight. Cities across the world held Marches - to coincide with with "Women's March on Washington." Today I marched in Albany, NY - with my mother and a good friend - and while I was there, I saw many other friends, and the posts of many more (around the globe).

Today I feel some comfort knowing that so many will not just sit idly by. Here are a few pictures from today.

Oh yeah...and, while this is going on, I take a bit of solace that I am in rehearsals for a piece called 'Petticoats of Steel' which is all about Women's Suffrage (and equal rights for all)!
