I haven't yet figured out how to come to terms with 'not getting' some of those things 'everyone is promised at birth' ... I mean, if anyone can tell me how to be ok without being loved (no, I don't mean my immediate family and friends), or how to be ok without becoming a parent (a mother) ... especially when it's pretty much all you've dreamt of for as long as you can remember ... well you tell me...how the fuck do you come to terms with that?!
