Well, today sucks.
I'm not sure how to reconcile not getting the thing I've wanted most - since I was old enough to understand my own thoughts. Being a mom. (A wife and a mom, if I'm being honest ... but as men run away from me...) I thought it was hard watching everyone around me get married an have kids (especially hard when it was relatives ... why is that?). I thought it was hard getting older and worrying about the cycle - and time in a woman's life that she was most able to have children - and how I was swiftly approaching the "you won't be able to get pregnant, you're too old" phase. I had no idea how it would feel when the lady doctor asked me if my mother had early menopause -- asked because of my own cycle (and a bit of other information I'm not putting on here). All I can say is it sucks. I don't want to be the end of my line. I'm pissed. I'm sad. I'm really fucking pissed. Like wicked angry at the universe. Why can "everyone" (yes I do realize not everyone has that, but pretty much everyone who wants too - that I know - does) around me find love and have babies? Isn't that like, what life is about? TODAY FUCKING SUCKS!

An Antique Craft
What do you need?
Some old (vintage/antique) pie tins - in various sizes.
An vintage/antique rolling pin.
And some type of bonding agent -- you know, a sturdy glue!
Then ... be brave.
Remove one end, the handle only, of the rolling pin.
Decide how much space you want between your pie tins ... and then ... chop that rest of that pin.
Glue the pieces to the pie tins ... and viola! You have yourself a cute, vintage/antique pie tin & rolling pin caddy.

June's Recipe: Indoor S'mores Dip
1 Bag of Chocolate Chips
Some heavy cream (or half-n-half)
Microwave and oven safe dish
Marshmallows
Graham Crackers
In said microwave and oven safe dish, pour that bag o'choc'o'chippies! Add some heavy cream (1/4 to 1/2 cup). Zap it until it's all melted together. (You may need to zap a bit, stir, and then zap some more.) While that's going on, turn on your oven. Once melted chocolate has, you know, melted ... place some marshmallow's on top, stick it in the oven and let them puff up - and get a little toasty.
While they're getting toasty ... break up some graham crackers.
Remove when toasty'ness hits peak level.
Let cool a bit - so you don't burn your mouth.
Then, using the broken up graham crackers, dip away ... and enjoy!
